02Staying here
Good to know.
What kinds of places can I stay in?
Off-grid cabins, handmade adobe casitas, and restored vintage Airstreams, all a short drive from the park gates. They sleep anywhere from two to six, and each one lists its nightly rate and what is included.
Are the stays really off the grid?
Some are, on purpose. The cabin and the dome run on solar power. The casitas and Airstreams have full power, heat, and air conditioning. Each listing tells you exactly what to expect.
Can I rent gear and a stay together?
Yes, and most people do. Book the stay as your basecamp and add the gear or a guided trip for the days you are out. Tell us your plan and we will line it all up.
Is there cell service or WiFi at the stays?
Service is spotty to nonexistent out here, which is part of the appeal. A few stays have a satellite connection for the essentials, but plan to be mostly offline.
